Membership

Membership in SCVQA is open to anyone interested in quilts and/or quilting.  

SCVQA wants to be a welcoming place for every single quilter. We know everyone's budget looks a little different, and a rigid, one­size­fits­all fee shouldn't stand in the way of learning or friendship. So, starting August 1st 2026,  trying something new and rolling out an Equity Pricing Model for memberships to help us reach and keep more members.

Basically, by offering a few different price points, members experiencing a tight spot can stay fully involved, while those who have a little extra room in their budget can help keep SCVQA thriving. We trust you to pick the level that honestly fits your current budget—no forms, no proof needed, and absolutely no questions asked. All Individual memberships (Regular, Equity, and Pay It Forward) are entitled to the same benefits of membership.

Regular Membership ($55): This is ourbase price. If things are financially steady for you right now, this is your spot. (Think of it like this: You can head to the fabric store on a whim and buy a few yards without sweating your bank balance, even if you still have to save up for a big investment like a brand-new machine.)

Equity Membership ($45): Choose this tier if the standard price feels like a heavy lift for your budget right now. (Think of it like this: You find yourself pausing and checking your bank app before picking up a single fat quarter.)

Pay It Forward Membership ($65): Choose this tier if you're in a position to help make sure anyone who wants to be a part of SCVQA can be. (Think of it like this: You’re able to buy new designer fabrics, kits, and high­end tools as you wish without needing to look closely atmyour budget.)
